Summer School 2017

Due to maintenance in our cafeteria, 2017 Summer School will be held at Winter Springs High School. Lake Howell WILL host Transition, Drivers Education, and Algebra Boot Camp on campus.

2017 Summer School, Driver's Education & Seminole County Virtual School student applications are now available! Please note that summer school is for remediation only with the exception of Driver's Education. All coursework is completed through the PLATO online program except Algebra I and English for ESOL. Completed forms should be returned to the Lake Howell Registration Office. For general summer school questions, please contact Nancy_Diaz@scps.k12.fl.us.

SAT School Make Up Day
Students who were absent on March 1 for the SAT School Day, can test on May 6, 2017 as part of the weekend SAT administration. They will need to sign in to their College Board account to transfer their registration free of charge. They need to make this transfer and upload an acceptable photograph no later than the late registration deadline of April 25, 2017 to ensure that they have a seat on test day.

Florida State Grants & Scholarships
Any senior interested in Florida Grants and/or Scholarships must complete an online application at www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org. This includes Bright Futures Scholarships. Submission of documented community service hours are due by May 1, 2017. Please click here for more information.

Senior Exit Survey is now available online. This survey is mandatory and students will not receive their graduation packet until the survey is complete. Click here to access the survey.

SSC Textbook Collection
Dual Enrollment textbooks will be collected on May 10th from 8:00 - 9:30am in Student Services. Please bring any Dual Enrollment textbooks you have been issued. Any issued books that are not returned will become a textbook debt.

Never Again Event
Lake Brantley High School is hosting a guest speaker, Mr. Gene Klein, and exhibits on April 26th in their community room at 5:30pm. Mr. Klein and his family were taken from their town in Hungary to Auschwitz in 1944, when Gene was just sixteen years old. Gene will share his story of resilience and have a Q&A Session and Book Signing. Click here for more information.
