Parents: Please do not drop off students on Dike Road or any of the subdivision streets.

Congratulations again, to all of the Silver Hawks' Community!

Congratulations to the Faculty and Staff, students, and parents of Lake Howell High School on earning an “A” grade
for the third straight year and maintaining the standard by which we've come to expect!
We could not be more PROUD!  This grade is determined by the Florida Accountability Measurement System which is determined by the Florida Department of Education.

It is important to note that when calculating the school grade, Florida’s accountability system grades schools not only on student performance on the FCAT 2.0 but also on their ability to graduate students, increase student performance in advanced placement coursework, and better prepare students for college and careers.  Overall there are nine categories of achievement metrics which go into calculating a school grade and as you would expect, Lake Howell High School exceeded what was needed to be considered an “A” school in these categories.

We are extremely proud of the hard work and effort given by our students, parents, faculty, and staff to achieve this goal!  It takes everyone working collaboratively towards the mission and vision of the school.

Congratulations  once again goes out to our faculty and staff, students, and parents for an exceptional job in earning this “A”… GO SILVERHAWKS!
