Master Sergeant Jorge Isaac Ulloa is a native of Long Island, New York. Upon graduating from East Islip High School, he enlisted in the Marine Corps in August 1999 and graduated from MCRD Parris Island, SC with platoon 1090, Bravo Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion.
Throughout his 20 years as a Marine, Master Sergeant Ulloa has served in various elements of the Marine Air Ground Task Force and the US military through assignments in joint billets. His tours of duty include: *Marine Corps Base, Okinawa, Japan, *8th & I Marine Barracks, Washington D.C., *Office of the Secretary of Defense, The Pentagon, *Marine Forces Reserve, New Orleans, LA, *6th Motor Transportation Battalion, Orlando, FL, *Marine Aircraft Group-49, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ, *Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA, *Africa Command, Stuttgart, Germany. His combat tours to support the Global War on Terrorism include tours in Iraq and Djibouti.
Master Sergeant Ulloa’s formal education is comprised of graduation from various academies at Marine Corps University, National Defense University, and a graduate degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix.
As of August 2020, Master Sergeant Ulloa is a proud Naval Science Instructor at Lake Howell High School.
His personal awards include: Defense Meritorious Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal w/ 1 gold star, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal w/ 1 gold star.
