Pass/Fail Options
Pass/Fail Grading Option
Certain approved courses may be taken as Pass/Fail (P/F) instead of receiving a traditional letter grade. Choosing the Pass/Fail option means the course will not impact your GPA if you earn a Pass. However, this option is available only for specific courses listed by the school.
To request the Pass/Fail option, students must submit a written request to their school counselor within the first 20 days of the semester. If the request is not submitted by this deadline, the student will receive a letter grade for the course, which will appear on their transcript and count toward their GPA.
