Registration

Being a new student can be hard, but our Lake Howell staff and students provide a welcome and inclusive environment. If there is anything our staff can do to assist in this transition, please feel free call Student Services at 407-746-9082.

Steps For a Successful Registration

In order to properly register for the 2024-2025 school year, it is recommended that all students carefully follow these steps:

  1. Carefully read the curriculum guide to explore the various course offerings.
  2. Talk with your parents, teachers, and your school counselor to gather information about what is the most appropriate course of study for you.

** Please Note: Rising 9th and 10th grade students who score a level 1 or 2 on the FAST ELA test will be placed in an Intensive Reading course. Rising 11th and 12th graders who have not met their FSA ELA and/or Math EOC graduation testing requirement will be placed in a Test Prep Course for the 2023-2024 school year.

For the 2024-2025 school year, SCPS will provide full-time virtual instruction options to students in grades K-12. Enrollment will be open from Monday, April 1 to July 29 2024. For more information, please see your certified school counselor or visit http://virtualschool.scps.k12.fl.us/
