In 2024, the Florida Legislature introduced the Florida Seal of Fine Arts Program, which encourages students to develop expertise in the visual or performing arts. This program recognizes graduates who meet specific benchmarks within the fine and performing arts framework. One key requirement is the successful completion of three year-long fine or performing arts courses with a grade of “A” or higher. To support students in achieving this distinction, we are offering an opportunity to bypass the prerequisite courses—Creating Art 2D and Creating Art 3D—and enroll directly in higher-level art classes at Lake Howell.
