"ACT WELL YOUR PART; THERE ALL THE HONOR LIES."
~ALEXANDER POPE
The Lake Howell Theatre Company and all subsects therewithin is an award-winning company that engages, inspires, and entertains audiences with theatrical productions that range from the classics to modern works; we train and support the next generation of theatre artists and life-long supportive patrons; we provide an arts education program that promotes life-long learning, and we celebrate the essential power of the theatre to illuminate our common humanity.
OUR CORE COMPANY
The Lake Howell Theatre Company (LHTC) is our core company on campus that embodies our wide variety of classes offered, including beginning/advanced acting, stage-management and directing, technical theatre, and film studies.
Rising Phoenix Productions is our outreach/community company that often works in conjunction with the LHTC to produce not only school performances, but also participate in fringe festivals that bring theatre to the masses, as well as children's productions for our local elementary feeder schools.
Thespian Troupe 4937 is our internationally recognized honor society that focuses on excellence in all aspects of theatre. Students spend their high school theatre career earning a spot within this prestigious troupe, focusing not only on their work in the performing arts, but also their core academic classes, as well as our annual philanthropic ventures.
