How to Register Your Student

Are you NEW TO SEMINOLE COUNTY? Es usted nuevo en el condado de Seminole?

Please read CAREFULLY the following information regarding how to enroll your student.

 

 

  1. Check to be sure that your student is in the correct school based on your school zone. If you are out of zone and wish to come to Lake Howell, you will need to submit a school choice application.

    - School Zones

    -     School Choice Programs and Application
     
  2. Complete a NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT: ACCOUNT REQUEST.
     
  3. Complete the NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT: APPLICATION FORM.

     

    Please have the following documents ready to upload BEFORE beginning the application (either a scanned copy or a picture). You CANNOT go back into the application once you begin.

     

    • Deed OR Current Lease including term agreements

    • Current Water or Power Bill

    • Matching License or Voters Card or Auto Registration

    • Florida 680 Shot Record

    • Birth Certificate

    • Transcript/Report Card along with Withdrawal Slip

    • School Physical if out of state or first time in a Seminole County Public School
       

  4. Once you have completed all of the steps above, make an appointment with Diane Shaw or Shareina Sakelariou to review your application. Please bring a copies of the documentation that you submitted.

  1. Verifique para asegurarse de que su estudiante esté en la escuela correcta según su zona escolar. Si está fuera de la zona y desea venir a Lake Howell, deberá presentar una solicitud de elección de escuela.

Are you returning to Seminole County?

  1. Check to be sure that your student is in the correct school based on your school zone. If you are out of zone and wish to come to Lake Howell, you will need to submit a school choice application.

  2. Returning in less than 1 calendar year? Complete the District Relocation Form and submit it to your assigned school along with your required documentation.
     
  3. Returning AFTER 1 calendar year? Please complete the NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT: APPLICATION FORM.
     
  4. Once you have completed all of the steps above, make an appointment with Diane Shaw or Shareina Sakelariou to review your application. Please bring a copies of the documentation that you submitted.
     

If you are having trouble, please contact the student's LAST SCPS SCHOOL OF ENROLLMENT for Skyward Family Assistance.

Are you a CURRENT SCPS family enrolling a New Student?

Log into Skyward Family Access and select the "New Student Online Enrollment" tab to being the new student application process.

Once you have completed all of the steps above, make an appointment with Diane Shaw or Shariena Sakelariou to review your application. Please bring a copies of the documentation that you submitted.

Are you transferring within Seminole County?

Moving within Seminole County: Grades 1 - 12 contact your school for a District Relocation Form and instructions.

Interested in a magnet program, transfer option or controlled open enrollment? Contact the Student Assignment & Program Access Department.

Student Withdrawal

If at all possible, please notify our office in advance of your intent to withdraw your student. To receive an official withdrawal packet, you must fill out the required form and return all issued books/materials.
