Personal Transportation Devices
- Students may ride bikes, e-bikes, and scooters to and from school if they follow Florida law and school rules.
- Ride safely and obey all traffic laws. Reckless riding and excessive speed are not allowed.
- Students under 16 must wear a properly fitted, fastened helmet when riding.
- Walk your device on campus. Students must get off at the school entrance and walk their bike or scooter to the designated parking area. They should also walk it when leaving campus.
- Students should lock their bikes and scooters. The school is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- Unsafe riding on or near campus may result in:
- A warning or citation from law enforcement.
- Temporary confiscation or impoundment of the device when allowed by law.
- School discipline or loss of the privilege to bring the device to school.
Reminder: Class 3 e-bikes {pedal-assist up to 28 mph) and motorized scooters are only allowed for riders 16 years and older under Florida law.
